This summer has seen weeks of excellent trios action out of Infinity, and this is no different. Creative stuff from both teams, Kong looking like a monster and Mochizuki looking like a genius in the way he utilized his partners to negate Takagi and YAMATO to take the big man down. I dig it.

Next up we get clips from the Osaka Pro vs. Veteran Army feud. Things got serious when Tigers Mask beat Super Shisa for the Open the Brave Gate title. He then successfully defended it in Dragon Gate against Dragon Kid. Not to be outdone, CIMA won Osaka Pro’s top singles title on a collaborative show by beating Billy Ken Kid with the Meteora. He successfully defended it against Black Buffalo. Now he and Mask will fight with both belts on the line.
CIMA © {W5} vs. Tigers Mask © {OP} [Osaka Pro Championship vs. Open the Brave Gate Championship Match]
CIMA hits a dropkick to start. One of Mask’s cronies trips CIMA. Mask goes after the arm. He hits chest kicks. CIMA blocks his kicks. He hits a crazy high kick. He boots Mask to the floor. Mask takes his time before reentering the ring. CIMA hits a senton. He puts on the Romero Special. Mask hits a low blow. His crew attacks CIMA on the floor. The Bodyguard slams CIMA onto the apron. Mask hits an enziguiri. He hits an armbreaker. He sends CIMA to the floor where LOV members attack him with a chair. Mask hits knee kicks in the corner. CIMA hits a dropkick. He hits the Superdrol. He hits a suicide dive. He hits a double stomp for 2. The LOV attacks CIMA in the corner. The Veteran Army does the same to Mask. CIMA hits the Perfect Driver for 2. Mask hits a super armdrag. He goes for another Meteora but Mask gets out of the way. Mask hits an enziguiri for 2. Gamma canes him and CIMA gets a roll up for 2. Buffalo breaks a box over CIMA’s head and Mask hits the tiger suplex for 2. Mask puts the nightstick back in his boot. He hits the buzzsaw kick but CIMA won’t go down. Mask hits it twice more and then nails another tiger suplex for 2. He hits a Half & Half suplex for the win and the Osaka Pro title at 16:56. This took forever to get going, as Mask wrestles a more traditional heel style than Dragon Gate fans are likely used to. Once the gaga set in things felt more appropriate. Mask was never going to be able to beat CIMA on his own, so all the interference worked for the match. That said I prefer Mask’s match against Dragon Kid to this.

After the match Tigers Mask gloats. Open the Dream Gate Champion Masato Yoshino comes to the ring and challenges Mask to a match for the Open the Brave Gate title. Mask accepts, even though Yoshino’s title will not be on the line. The match will happen August 14th.
BxB Hulk {W1} & Kotoka {W1} vs. Genki Horiguchi {W5} & Ryo Saito {W5} gave us the Infinity debut of Hulk’s shaved head. He looks largely the same, but the baldness competition between Horiguchi and Hulk was pretty funny. The match ended after Saito hit Kotoka with the Double Cross.
Masato Yoshino {W1} vs. KAGETORA {K}Â ended after Yoshino hit KAGETORA with the Torbellino and the Lightning Spiral.
The show ends with Tigers Mask talking backstage about how great he is. Yoshino rebuts. Next week’s Infinity will cover the August 1st show, so just like last year the first couple days of the Summer Adventure Tag League will be cut.
