Akira Tozawa vs. Dingo
They trade holds to start. Tozawa controls on the mat. He kicks the crap out of the disrespectful Dingo. Dingo misses a chop and hits the post. Tozawa works the arm. He hits a Con-Chair-To to the arm. He hits a senton on the arm. He hits a dropkick. He goes for a suicide dive but Dingo throws a chair at him. That gets 2. Dingo hits an elbowdrop for 2. He puts on a chinlock. Tozawa gets to the ropes. He hits a diving knee kick to the back for 2. He hits a head kick. He works the neck in creative ways. He puts on a guillotine choke but Tozawa gets to the ropes. He hits a dropkick. He takes out the leg and hits a running knee. He hits a suicide dive. He blocks the crossbody. He hits a hammerlock suplex for 2. Dingo hits a fisherman buster for 2. He hits another for 2. Tozawa hits a German suplex but his neck is too hurt to hold the bridge. Nice. He hits the bicycle kick and the complete shot. He puts on the Sol Naciente. Umm, what the hell?! I knew Tozawa was good but I didn’t know he was brilliant! Dingo gets to the ropes. Dingo hits a superplex. Tozawa hits the bicycle kick. He hits a superplex but can’t cover. he trades bicycle kicks for forearms. Dingo puts on the guillotine choke. Tozawa powers up and hits the Complete Shot. He reapplies the Sol Naciente for the win at 16:42. This was beautiful, as Tozawa completely changed his offensive arsenal to adapt to his injured neck and used the new moveset to exploit Dingo’s injured arm. I’m in awe.
